Anna Huttunen

Anna currently works as a climate neutral cities adviser for NetZeroCities, a platform which helps European mission cities attempt to reach climate neutrality by 2030. Anna joined Climate KIC and the NetZeroCities City Advisor team after working several years in a city administration.


As former manager of sustainable mobility, Anna Huttunen pushed for greener, cleaner, more efficient mobility in the medium-sized Finnish city of Lahti, the European Green Capital 2021. In charge of the sustainable urban mobility plan and development of an ecosystem around it, Anna was transforming Lahti’s connectivity through improved walkability and cycling, multi-modality, and low-carbon mobility options and services, such as bike share system.


She was also in charge of the city’s groundbreaking personal carbon trading model. Huttunen aims to make others excited about sustainable mobility and the co-benefits it has to offer and is a keen advocate for cycling, which she considers the future of transport in cities.
